Where we share your data with third parties, we have agreements in place to ensure they process your data in compliance with POPIA. Some of these third parties may be located outside South Africa.

6. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Your personal information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside South Africa where our service providers are located (e.g., SendGrid in the United States). We ensure that adequate safeguards are in place and that the transfer complies with POPIA Section 72.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Order records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for tax and accounting purposes. Account information is retained until you request deletion.

We implement reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. These include encryption, access controls, and secure servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
